The new year is a time for change. A time for fresh beginnings and a time to start new. How about doing something spontaneous and out of the ordinary to start the year 2009 off right? We've got just the thing for you at the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts this year.
If you're tired of the same, boring old routine and the same boring old radio stations day in and day out, a group like Barrage will help you break out of the winter doldrums and spice up the night.
This hot young group of fiddle players will be playing a fusion of music with rockin' beats and intense pulsating rhythms. Embracing a new culture of music can expand horizons and inspire the musician in all of us. Which is why Barrage is such a great show for the whole family. Its contemporary sounds mixed with a wide variety of cultural styles can open your mind to a whole world of music.
Barrage is candy for the ears and the eyes. This high energy show doesn't stop, even with the ballads. The slower songs have an intensity that keeps your blood pumping from the first note until the last.

Discovering new lands and faraway places is another great way to break out of your normal routine. Our Adventure Cinema Series with shows set in February, March and April will allow you to see the sights of India, Russia and Italy without the hefty cost of a plane ticket.

The filmmakers of these fabulous documentaries will be personally presenting their works and are available for a question and answer session after the show.
