"In Search of Norman Rockwell's America" -- Motor Coach Trip
Thursday, January 21, 2010
Cost: $15 per person
Did Norman Rockwell paint an idealized version of America, or was he painting what
he really saw? With camera in hand, award-winning photojournalist Kevin Rivoli went
in search of real "Rockwell moments." Thirty of his slice-of-life images will hang
side-by-side with thirty similarly evocative Rockwell paintings, drawings, and
artist's prints. Join our docent-led tour to find Norman Rockwell's America at the
internationally acclaimed Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau. We depart the
Tack Center parking lot at 9:00 a.m. via Progressive Travel's comfortable motor
coach and spend the morning at this amazing exhibit. A stop for lunch (cost not included)
and a visit to the historical Yawkey House Museum will complete this mini-tour.

Michael Perry and The Long Beds
Friday, January 29, 2010 -- 7:00 p.m.
Reserved Seating: $10
Our favorite Wisconsin Author-Humorist-Singer-Songwriter presents an evening words and music. After opening the show with a passel of heartfelt (and often
hilarious) stories drawn from his books (including, "Coop-A Year of Poultry, Pigs and Parenting," "Truck: A Love Story," and "Population 485") Perry will
take the stage with his band the Long Beds for a lively performance of original "roughneck folk" songs. Michael's books and CDs will be available for sale
and signing.
