"You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give." - Winston Churchill
For more than a quarter century, the Tack Center has been blessed by hundreds of smiling faces and helping hands, working together to bring the Arts to our greater community. Individuals give what they can, whether an hour or a day, sharing their talents and time.
Volunteers save the LTCA thousands of dollars every season and put a friendly, helpful face to every theatre experience for patrons and performers alike. From supporting the technical director by working behind the scenes or assisting patrons front of house, all LTCA Volunteers make a difference in the lives of others, helping create a positive image, and safe and pleasant surroundings for LTCA show attendees and entertainers.
Volunteers GIVE, but they also gain a sense of accomplishment in a job well done and the satisfaction of knowing they have contributed to our community. Their lives are richer and more meaningful for having connected with another human being in the Tack Center space. Volunteering is a win-win!
If you'd like to join our merry band of volunteers, we ask that you complete an application to help match you with an appropriate task. Knowing a current or past LTCA Volunteer is advantageous, but certainly not needed. Most volunteer opportunities require no prior knowledge, just a good attitude, willingness to learn, common sense and a smile.
