A curtain call acknowledges exceptional performance with additional rounds of applause. The accompanying plaques reflect outstanding performance to LuCille Tack Center for the Arts by individuals who have followed in LuCille Tack’s footsteps. The Tack proudly extends a round of applause to those deserving individuals for their commitment, service and support.

2025 Inductees

Deborah Janz

Deborah Janz

Deborah was the first Executive Director of the LTCA taking on that role in June of 1999. Before that Deborah had been a LTCA board member and was on the school board in 1994 when LuCille gifted the School District of Spencer $450,000 to build either a library or a new theater. Janz was a key factor in creating the Tack Center and was involved in everything from planning and designing the theater to procuring funding and filling the seats. One of her most treasured accomplishments was the Arts Adventure program which allows students from all over central Wisconsin to be enlightened, enriched and developed artistically. Join us in applauding Deborah Janz for her instrumental work for the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts!

Diane Veale

Diane Veale

Diane Veale was the choir director for Spencer starting in the mid 1980s. When the school board voted to build a theater and the Spencer referendum passed, Diane was there to provide wisdom and insight into what the theater should accomplish for the school. Diane then became a LTCA board member, board president and eventually in July of 2017 the second Executive Director of the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts. Diane’s inspirational work with the Spencer students, her countless hours of dedication to the LTCA, and her delightful demeanor will never be forgotten here in Spencer. Join us in applauding Diane Veale for her noteworthy work for the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts!

Randy Veale

Randy Veale

Randy Veale was the director of bands for Spencer starting in 1985. Veale thought at first he would only be in Spencer for a couple of years, yet he quickly found his niche in the community and it was forever changed. Randy was when the decision was made to create the LTCA and was there to give guidance to those designing it. Randy was a LTCA board member, Technical Director, caretaker of the facility, and contact person for all sound and lighting. Randy spent countless hours setting stages, focusing lights and preparing for the many incredible artists that took the stage at the Tack. His fantastic leadership, his eye for detail and his infectious personality will always be remembered here in Spencer.
